District 2 · Loyalist-Cataraqui · Kingston, Ontario
A neighbour who works hard and believes in people's right to build something.
Why Jeff
District 2 needs a councillor who shows up, returns calls, and treats residents like neighbours — not file numbers. Jeff Pearce is a journeyman electrician and lifelong Kingstonian who has spent his career building things and working alongside the small business owners and tradespeople that make this community work.
About Jeff →Jeff is running on three simple commitments: hard work — showing up and doing the job; innovation — supporting entrepreneurs and cutting unnecessary red tape; and neighbourliness — treating every resident of this district the way a good neighbour would.

About Jeff
Jeff Pearce is a journeyman electrician and lifelong Kingstonian who has spent his career working alongside the small business owners, tradespeople, and neighbours that make the Cataraqui community what it is.
A former musician who knows what it means to build something from nothing, Jeff brings a common sense, community-first approach to everything he does. He lives in District 2, works in District 2, and is running because this district deserves a councillor who is actually present and accountable.
Jeff is not a career politician. He is a neighbour who decided it was time to show up.
Why I'm Running
Loyalist-Cataraqui deserves a councillor who believes in this community. Someone who supports people trying to start something, who returns calls, who shows up to neighbourhood events, and who uses common sense when making decisions that affect people's daily lives.
This district is full of hard-working people. They deserve representation that reflects that. Jeff is running to provide it.
What Jeff Stands For
Jeff believes City Hall should be a resource, not a roadblock. Residents should be able to get clear answers, practical guidance, and timely help when dealing with permits, bylaws, local services, or neighbourhood concerns.
Kingston should be easier to start in, build in, and invest in. Jeff supports a practical, common-sense approach to local business, home-based work, trades, young entrepreneurs, and residents trying to build something in their community.
Roads, sidewalks, parks, lighting, snow clearing, traffic concerns, and neighbourhood upkeep matter. Jeff will advocate for District 2's fair share and push City Hall to focus on the everyday services residents rely on.
A strong city starts with safe, cared-for neighbourhoods. Jeff will support safer streets, better public spaces, responsive service, and practical solutions that help families, seniors, workers, and local residents feel proud of where they live.
City councillor is a paid public job, and Jeff believes it should be treated like one. He will show up, listen, respond, follow through, and keep residents informed with regular District 2 updates. District 2 deserves a councillor who knows our streets, listens to our neighbourhoods, and fights for our fair share at City Hall.
Loyalist-Cataraqui is a growing neighbourhood. Jeff will advocate for responsible growth that keeps the area affordable for the families and workers who already call it home — supporting local businesses that lower costs for residents, and pushing for housing development that meets real community needs.
